LOCAL YOUTH WINS RESERVE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE

The American Quarter Horse Journal, Oklahoma City – On Thursday, August 5, 2010, Hailey Haas of Jensen Beach, Florida, captured the reserve world championship in hunter hack at the Built Ford Tough American Quarter Horse Youth Association World Championship Show in Oklahoma City.
Hailey showed her American Quarter Horse, Artful Seduction, who is a bay mare.
In the hunter hack, 87 entries competed for world champion honors. Hailey and Artful Seduction received a prize package that included a custom-designed silver-tone trophy, Montana Silversmiths buckle, silver medallion, logoed Cripple Creek leather jacket, reserve world champion patch, Professional’s Choice product and a WeatherBeeta embroidered blanket.
The Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show is the world’s largest, single-breed, youth world championship show. This is the pinnacle for youth around the world who must qualify for the event by earning a predetermined number of points to earn the right to compete in each of the 33 classes representing halter, English and western disciplines. The 2,402 entries at this year’s event represent competitors from the United States, Canada, Venezuela, Germany and the United Kingdom. The show is being held July 30 – August 7 at Oklahoma State Fair Park.
Artful Seduction is owned by Hailey and is by Artful Move and out of Indiana Panorama by Successfully, bred by Rick Cecil of Plant City, Florida.
